*** Please read this page *fully* before sending any package to us.
*** If sending from overseas (outwith the United Kingdom) by a carrier eg UPS, FedEx etc, please ensure you tick the box marked “Sender Pays” as we will not accept any packages where duty or shipping charges must be paid. When filling in the Customs form, you *must* add “Watch FOR REPAIR” or we will be charged duty on the full value of the watch which we will have to pass on to you before we can return your watch.
There is no need to schedule a repair.
Please be sure to obtain a receipt from your post office, as we cannot take any responsibility for the goods before we receive them.
If you do not intend to send your watch to us eg you are just ordering a watch strap and will fit it yourself, please indicate this on the order form. Otherwise we will assume that you are sending us the watch and will wait for its arrival.
Please also ensure that you do not send the presentation box (just wrap the item in a little bubble wrap.)
All Cairn brand watch repairs should be sent to:
D W (Repairs), P O Box 985, Glasgow, G77 6UY, Scotland, UK.
Any other brand sent to us will be returned untouched and you will be charged for it’s registered postage.
Please note that we do not replace watch batteries. The watches are all fitted with standard movements and replacement batteries are available everywhere. This removes the need for postage both ways.
We strongly recommend you take your watch to a qualified technician – a working watchmaker or jeweller.
